The following course has been designed with the intention that the student may participate in the course with no prior knowledge or any previous camera experience.
The course will start at a “little or no knowledge level” and progress through the course duration bringing the student up to a high standard, producing well exposed images within their particular environment.
The course can be run as a full photographic 2 day course or broken down into separate modules depending on the end users needs.
Module 1 is suitable for students wanting knowledge of the basic principles of photography.
The student will work through the basic principles of photography giving them a sound knowledge of the component parts and general navigation of a digital camera.

The following module has been designed for those just starting out in digital photography and wish to minimise time on the computer with editing techniques and digital workflow.
The course will show students how to use Lightroom efficiently to import, process, manage and showcase their images. The content of this course will also demonstrate how to create more efficient workflows for image processing and working within Photoshop, making use of the various panels available in Lightroom.

The aim of this course is to introduce students to the basic techniques of Studio Lighting. This course is run over a period of 2 days, covering all of the basics, but can also be run as a 1 day bespoke course for those wishing to take things on a step by step basis. The course will enable the student to have a hands on approach at each stage, practically engaging with the set up of the studio and the lighting techniques involved.
